The Wade Hampton Golf Course ~ private The Wade Hampton Golf course is designed by Tom Fazio, and is the 17th highest ranking golf course in the world that provides a picturesque view of Chimney Top Mountain. Sapphire Mountain Golf Club ~ public Sapphire Mountain Golf Course golfers enjoy the privilege of crossing mountain streams and enjoying panoramic views. The course was designed by Ron Garl and allows for excellent playing for a player that is either a low handicap player, or a beginner. Highlands Country Club ~ private Fantastic views, breathtaking mountain vistas are all present at Highlands Cove golf course. The 18 hole golf course was designed by Donald Ross. Highlands Cove ~ public Highlands Cove provides a spectacular view overlooking lush green valleys. Architect Tom Jackson designed the 71 par course with steep foot drops from tees to fairway that enhances the natural beauty of the course. Memorable panoramic beauty is located at Highlands Cove. High Hampton Inn and Country Club ~ public The High Hampton Inn’s golf course is designed by the legendary golf architect, George Cobb. While playing, you are able to view the beautiful peaks of Rock Mountain and Chimney Top Mountain and view one of the most scenic courses in America.

Yellow Mountain Yellow Mountain contains 4.8 miles of slopes that ascends to an elevation of 5,127 feet. Starting from the intersection of Highway 107 and 64 in Cashiers, drive west on U.S. Hwy. 64 towards Highlands for 7.3 miles. Turn right on Buck Creek Roadand drive 2.2 miles, passing Chestnut Hill on the right. Whiteside Mountain Whiteside Mountain has a 2 mile loop that ascends to an elevation of 4,940 feet. Starting from the intersection of Highway 107 and 64 in Cashiers, drive west on U.S. 64 in the direction of Highlands for 4.7 miles. Turn left on Whiteside Mountain Roadat the brown “Whiteside Mountain Trail” sign. Continue 1.1 miles to Wildcats Cliffs Country Club. Rock Mountain Trail .8 miles to 4,400 ft. elevation Located at the High Hampton Inn and Country Club. From the intersection of Highway 107 and 64 in Cashiers, drive south on Hwy. 107 for 1.8 miles, turn left into the entrance of the High Hampton Inn. Chimney Top Trail 1.6 miles to 4,618 ft. elevation From the intersection of Highway 107 and 64 in Cashiers, drive south on Hwy. 107 for 1.8 miles, turn left into the entrance of the High Hampton Inn. Lake Trail 1.5 miles around 35 acre Hampton Lake From the intersection of Highway 107 and 64 in Cashiers, drive south on Hwy. 107 for 1.8 miles, turn left into the entrance of the High Hampton Inn. Panthertown Valley 6,700 acres of high mountain valley provides scenic view of waterfalls, flowing streams and beautiful foliage for hiking and biking enthusiasts alike. From the intersection of Highway 107 and 64 in Cashiers, drive east on U.S. 64 in the direction of Brevard, after 2 miles turn left on Cedar Creek Road and continue on Breedlove Road. Drive 4 miles to Panthertown Valley entrance.

Waterfalls Bridal Veil Falls, Dry Fall, Upper and Lower Cullasaja Falls Beautiful refreshing waterfalls are located throughout the Cashiers Area and Jackson County. From Cashiers at the intersection of Highway 107 and U.S. 64, drive west towards Highlands on U.S. Hwy. 64. Turn right at the traffic light at the junction of U.S. 64 and Hwy. 28 (towards Franklin), and drive 2.8 miles. Bridal Falls is on the right side of the road. Continue for 0.9 miles and after passing the Dry Falls sign, turn left into the parking lot. To view Cullasaja Falls, continue driving 3.3 miles. To view Lower Cullasaja Falls continue driving for 2.4 miles.
Glen Falls From Cashiers, at the intersection of Highway 107 and U.S. 64, drive on Hwy. 64 towards Highlands, then take NC 106 for 1.8 miles to the Glen Falls sign. Turn left, drive 1 mile on a gravel road. Cashiers Sliding Rock, Silver Run Falls and Whitewater Falls Cashiers Sliding Rock - From Cashiers, at the intersection of Highway 107 and U.S. 64, drive south on Hwy. 107 for 1.9 miles, turn right on Whiteside Cove Road and drive for 2.8 miles. Cross bridge, pull off, and follow trail to the right for 100 yards to Little Sliding Rock. Silver Run Falls – continue driving on Hwy. 107 for 2.4 miles. If you pass the entering Nantahala National Forest sign, you have gone too far. Whitewater Falls – Continue south on Hwy. 107 for 5.3 miles, turn left on SC 413, and continue for 2.3 miles until a dead-end at SC 130. Turn left on SC 130 and continue driving until you pass the Nantahala National Forest, Whitewater Falls sign. Whitewater falls is the highest waterfall in the eastern United States.
