My name is Maryellen Lipinski but folks up here just call me Mel on the Mountain.
I own Mel's Mountain Real Estate-a real estate firm located in Sapphire, North Carolina where I now live after visiting for over 30 years. I hope it does not take you this long to enjoy the beauty and cool temperatures.
After visiting Sapphire Valley area faithfully in the summer and fall, finally in 2000, I pulled my own building permit and built my post and beam home. I even wrote a book about it. You'll find it at Amazon.com and bookstores and coffee shops in town. Life Under Construction...a work in progress...just like this web site!
This is not my first profession but I really love it. Why? Because my life is enhanced by Sapphire Valley and the beauty that surrounds living here. That's why I sell real estate. It's easy to find dream homes for client sin a place you love to live. ANd what a bonus when my clients become my friends!
I've been a psychologist, professional speaker, coach, consultant and author, but the mountains are in my heart and so in order to participate in the hiking, waterfalls, golf, and beauty of the nature that resides here, I decided to stay and be a professional realtor.
This is my 6th year!
